Teddy McCain

"McCain sees himself in Teddy Roosevelt mold",  www.iht.com/articles/2008/07/13/america/mccain.php,  ".. government should play an important role in areas like addressing climate change, regulating campaign finance and taking care of "those in America who cannot take care of themselves".
If this is what an Arizona senate conservative at his age with all his government experience and warts from the 'Worlds' most deliberative body attached campaigns in Wisconsin for President armed in words with, then I say we have all been deceived by at least and probably more than individual shortcomings.  Some may say the parts are summed collectively more than individual pieces, but the picture seems to blur the more we look.  It is no wonder over the history of American presidential elections that the choice of electing a former/sitting senator to the highest office went to someone else that didn't have that experience.  How many people polled if asked the question in a non-biased fashion about campaign giving would say our current law works or that it should be scrapped save the exception of outright buying the office , like personal $65M to become Governor Corzine of NJ, grossly spent personally to be  previous Senator Corzine of NJ?  That model of a one party state's 'ownership' in Trenton should be 'regulated' by a Federal Court in the same manner that Kansas City,MO had a court run the school district for many years, then maybe the entrenched connected politicians would have a greater fear of intervention,
(perp walks to jail), than that of the same buddy crowd that prevails?
So this IS how the presumtive nominee for the Repulican party is presenting a forward administration priority outlook?   Doesn't America have real and significant issues to confront, like staying warm in winter, no black-outs during excessive summer heat periods no less the refrigerator or the grocery stores food storage ruining more food than the FDA can't find the cause for salmonella for months on end?
I shrink at the prospect of a President BHO, yet I cannot lose the thought of President Teddy McCain each morning going to the Senate building to put on his underwear and shoes before he starts the day.  Could it be that John McCain finally gets a single presentable appropriate message for the times and the majority of Americans to embrace for November's election of which he too can believe and develope once in office?
